Flo relaxed in a pond – a most perfect space
For an alligator hanging out in her own special place
Till a hunter came searching and with no time to waste
Flo soon was subdued, with tape ’round her face.

Was she off to the swamps, to splash, swirl and sputter
Or to find a nice school, and nest snugly in clutter?
She can be quite quiet, but an occasional mutter
Often gives her away, making hearts go aflutter.
